What it's great at

For short outages and camping, this is a strong, portable, plug-and-play choice. Here's roughly how long it holds a fridge, based on independent testing (see the note below):

Real fridges cycle their compressors on and off, so treat these as planning estimates, not promises.

Plan for the real number, not the label

Independent testing put the energy actually reaching the outlet at roughly 840–890Wh, not the full 1,024Wh on the label. Some loss is normal in any power station — this isn't a flaw, it's physics — but plan your runtime around the energy that reaches your appliances, and you'll never be caught short.

Why we're holding it at Conditional

There's an FCC filing for the A1763, but that covers radio and interference, not the safety of the power station itself. We also found regional certification that doesn't carry over to the U.S. version. So as of Aug 30, 2026, a U.S. UL, ETL, or equivalent safety listing is something we couldn't confirm ourselves.

That doesn't mean it's unsafe. It means we won't tell you it's confirmed when we haven't confirmed it — that's the standard we hold to Green.

A few claims worth a closer look

The 49-minute recharge. Real, but it needs UltraFast Charging switched on in the app — and Anker notes that battery temperature affects whether it hits full speed.
2,000W vs 3,000W. 2,000W is the continuous output; 3,000W is a brief peak.
The "10-year" language. That refers to holding at least 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles. The actual warranty is 5 years.
No expansion battery. Gen 2 gave up expandability on purpose, to be smaller and lighter.

Before you buy: returns and support

Worth reading the return policy first. As it stands, non-quality returns mean you pay return shipping on a roughly 25-pound unit, replacements after the initial return window can be refurbished units, and if a replacement isn't available, refunds can be prorated by how much you've used it.

Choose something else if

You need whole-house backup.
You're running electric heating or air conditioning for days.
You want to buy 1kWh now and add an expansion battery later — this generation can't expand.
You're counting on the full 1,024Wh reaching your appliances.

The right buyer

You want portable, plug-and-play power for short outages and camping.
Your priority loads sit comfortably under 2,000W continuous.
You value very fast wall charging and don't need to expand later.
You're comfortable with Conditional while we work on confirming that safety listing.
